Education, dignity and respect | World Refugee Day 2026

“For someone to be safe, that means they have to have access to education, dignity, and respect,” says Grace, a BA in General Studies student in Dzaleka Refugee Camp.

For refugees, safety doesn’t just mean physical protection. It means stability, dignity, and hope for the future.

Education opens doors and empowers individuals to rebuild their lives, raise their voices, and shape a better, more sustainable future for themselves and their communities.
