Making the Invisible Visible: The connecting force of art at the Dzaleka Refugee Camp, Malawi

Mr Emmanuel Chima, Ubuntu Dialogues Seminar Exchange Fellow (2021), in conversation with Prof Paul Bukuluki, associate professor in the Department of Social Work and Social Administration, School of Social Sciences at Makerere University in Kampala, Uganda.

Emmanuel Chima is a second-year PhD student at the School of Social Work at Michigan State University in East Lansing, USA. His research focuses on experiences of forced displacement, youth transitions and aging. Currently he is studying the community at Dzaleka refugee camp in Malawi.
